These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Taorluath software ("the Software") and this website. By purchasing a licence, activating the Software, or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Licence grant

A purchased licence grants one person a personal, non-transferable right to install and use the Software. Each activation key may be activated once and is tied to the email address used at purchase. The 6-month and 12-month tiers grant use for that period from the date of activation; the Lifetime tier does not expire.

2. Activation and your account

To activate the Software you must enter both your activation key and the email address used to purchase it. The two must match our records. If they do not match, the licence is deactivated and placed under review until ownership can be confirmed.

3. Buying for other people

Purchasing licences for, or distributing licences to, other people without a valid Distribution Licence is strictly prohibited and is a violation of these Terms. Any licence found to be purchased or used in this way will be deactivated and placed under review. If you need to supply the Software to students, band members, customers, or any third parties, you must obtain a Distribution Licence. If your intent is to not make monetary gain, please contact me directly (taorluath.software@protonmail.com) and I will provide a free Limited Distribution Licence for your use case.

4. Acceptable use

Do not copy, share, resell, or sublicense your activation key.
Do not attempt to bypass, tamper with, or circumvent activation.
Do not reverse engineer the Software except where permitted by law.

5. Refunds

Because activation keys are delivered instantly and can be activated immediately, all sales are final once a key has been activated. If you have not activated your key, contact us for assistance.

6. Termination

We may deactivate a licence that is found to be in breach of these Terms, including the distribution restriction in Section 3. Deactivated licences are placed under review and may be reinstated once the matter is resolved.

7. Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software or this site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
